These last few years - things have been taken away, things have been gained. We’ve lost people, we’ve lost spaces. We’ve seen new places. We’ve seen old places change.

Between the worst and best moments, I’d remind myself to breathe deeply—to embrace the fullness of life. To recognize that to be present, in joy or pain, is to be alive and grateful for that life itself.

I haven’t figured out how to freeze time but I know now how to stop it, if only for a second. I hope this album helps you stop time when you need it most.
